Mary Harbison Cunningham, Early Settler in Young Township

As this record indicates, Mary's parents settled in what is now Young Township in 1798. The document also shows that Mary Cunningham's son George was married four times. He was first married to Eliza Anderson, then to Catharine Nesbit, then to Rachel Ritchey. His last and fourth wife was "unknown." The untimely deaths of these women may have been due to the complications of childbirth or other maladies and may account for George's several marriages.
