The
Coal Run school, located a few miles from McIntyre, for a time served as the
intermediary school for local students from Coal Run, McIntyre, and other nearby
towns. Although this is a current photo, the exterior is similar to that time
when it functioned as a school. For a while the building was used as a Senior
Citizen Center. As of November of 2001, it was for sale.
