Indiana County Townships, 1850-1859
Young Township is located in the southwestern corner of
Indiana County. It was formed from parts of Blacklick and Conemaugh Townships in 1830.
New townships such as Burrell and Cherryhill were formed in 1853 and 1854
respectively. The boundary of Young Township was already established by 1830.
